Information Repository

The Information Repository (IR) is a collection of documents, reports, correspondence and articles related to the Environmental Restoration Program at the former Griffiss Air Force Base. This collection of documents is very similar to the Administrative Record, but is more focused on public information needs. The purpose of the IR is to provide the public with an opportunity to review or research the data and information that is considered during the remedial action planning and selection process. The collection includes an assortment of information that ranges from highly technical, site-specific analyses and reports to more general, comprehensive documents such as correspondence, Fact Sheets and Proposed Plans and newspaper articles.

The IR is maintained expressly for use by the general public. The Griffiss AFB IR is located on the Third Floor of the Jervis Public Library, 317 North Washington Street, Rome NY. Multiple indices are available to facilitate research on specific sites, topics or within defined time frames.
